Diamonds (2nd Edition)

Players 2-6 Playtime 20-30 Age 8+ Designer Mike Fitzgerald Publishers Stronghold Games Artists William Bricker, Daniel SolisShow More Mechanics Hand Management, Trick-taking Category Card Game Diamondsis a trick-taking card game in which players collect Diamonds – not cards bearing that suit, mind you, but rather actual “Diamond Crystals” (acrylic crystals) included in the game.What makes the game ofDiamondsdifferent from other trick-taking card games is that when you cannot follow suit you get a “Suit Action” based on what suit you do play. Suit Actions are also taken by the winner of each trick, as well as at the end of a full Round of play.Suit Actions will enable players to take Diamond Crystals from the Supply, moving them to their Showroom (where they may score 1 point) or to their Vault (where they will score 2 points). The Vault is a secure area, but the Showroom is vulnerable to theft by the other players.Whoever has the most points in Diamond Crystals at the end of the game wins!Contains:60 Redesigned Playing Cards6 Redesigned Player Aid Cards1 Thief Token6 Vaults110 Clear plastic diamonds25 Red plastic diamonds1 Rulebook var cardText = document.querySelector(“.storepass-see-more-content”) var showMore = document.querySelector(‘.storepass-see-more’) function toggleSeeMore() { if (showMore.innerHTML == ‘Show More’) { showMore.innerHTML = ‘Show Less’ cardText.classList.add(‘storepass-see-more-content-show’) } else { showMore.innerHTML = ‘Show More’ cardText.classList.remove(‘storepass-see-more-content-show’) } } initText() function initText() { if (!checkOverflow(cardText)) return showMore.classList.remove(‘d-none’) } function checkOverflow(el) { var curOverflow = el.style.overflow; if (!curOverflow || curOverflow === “visible”) el.style.overflow = “hidden” var isOverflowing = el.clientWidth < el.scrollWidth || el.clientHeight < el.scrollHeight; el.style.overflow = curOverflow; return isOverflowing; } .storepass-see-more-content { display: inline-block; display: -webkit-box; -webkit-line-clamp: 1; -webkit-box-orient: vertical; overflow: hidden; height: 28px; } .storepass-see-more-content-show { -webkit-line-clamp: unset; height: unset; } .storepass-custom-description .d-none { display: none!important; } .storepass-custom-description .d-block { display: block!important; }
